When running a busy, Scottish Premier league football club, there are many decisions to be made, both on and off the field. One of those 'off field' decisions recently related to what the club was going to do about their 3 faulty and aging stock of dryers that they relied on for the smooth operation of the Kit Room at the club.
The club's motto is 'Fortitia Omnia Vincit' - Bravery Conquers All, so they took the right decision to call us at Thain Commercial, to cast an eye over their laundry equipment and provide them with an expert opinion on whether these machines were up to the job for the season ahead, because when it comes to commercial laundry equipment, Thain Commercial know talent when they see it!
How Thain Commercial Helped The Client
We pride ourselves on our honesty and integrity, and we will never advise a client to replace a machine unless it is absolutely necessary. So, our experienced service technicians were given the task of getting the club's 18-year-old, 3 series Electrolux Dryer on the 'treatment table' for a well needed repair and service. The good news is that after our team of engineers were finished, they were delighted to confirm that this machine was 'passed fit' and ready to continue to play its' part in supporting the club for hopefully many more seasons to come.
Unfortunately however, for the club's 2 smaller semi-commercial type machines, which had served the club well over the years, it was time to say goodbye and get some 'fresh legs' into the club's Kit Room, so we advised on these machines being replaced with a new up and coming star, the Electrolux TD6-14 Compass Pro Low Energy, high capacity dryer, which we supplied, installed and commissioned all within 7 days, ensuring that the club's Kit Room operations were not disrupted for too long and they were back up and running in no time at all.
The Outcome For Livingston FC
Kit Manager at the club Stephen Sproule, (aka Cheb) is delighted with the club's latest acquisition and reports that this new machine along with the older machine are forming a great 'new partnership' at the club and turning in some stellar performances.
