Adding Capacity to a Fort William Laundry Business
Lochaber Industrial Laundry Services began when owner John Corbett wanted a laundry for his self-catering accommodation and considered converting an existing industrial unit. The business went on to serve other holiday accommodation operators, tourists and residents around Fort William.
Thain Group helped plan the laundry layout and supplied, installed and maintained equipment as the business expanded.
Planning the Space and Equipment
Thain Group’s Miele Professional partnership brought manufacturer knowledge to the equipment proposal and the continued support for the growing Fort William laundry.
Thain Group met with John to advise on the layout and prepare a proposal for Miele commercial laundry machines. As demand grew, the relationship continued with additional equipment supplied, fitted and maintained by the team.
Adding Washing Drying and Ironing Capacity
The installation described included a Miele PW6321EL 32 kg washing machine, a Miele 44 kg gas dryer and an Electrolux Professional IC43320 dryer ironer.
The equipment was added to increase washing, drying and finishing capacity for the laundry’s growing workload. Installation was coordinated with the client to manage disruption.
