The Enquiry
We received an enquiry from Tribe Yoga, who operated three studios in Edinburgh. Each studio had a high volume of towelling products that were used in the business each day.
At the time Tribe Yoga were using domestic appliances to meet all their laundry requirements, and as these machines were not designed to be used as extensively as they were, they were often prone to breaking down, meaning they were not available to the business when they needed them most.
Moreover, the longer cycle time of the domestic machines meant they used more water and energy, which as a result then made them expensive to run.
This was, of course, no use to the business and needed to change, ensuring that each studio had a laundry solution that would meet all their needs providing a reliable, hygienic laundry process.
Taking A Client Centred Approach
We arranged a meeting with the client to get a full understanding of these challenges.
We also took the time to visit each of the three studios where the new machines were to be located, primarily to survey space and mains services availability, this would ensure that the laundry solution we would propose, would meet all their requirements.
The Solution We Proposed
All the proposals we provide, take in account a number of factors such as; loading ratios, laundry volume demand, layout options along with minimising energy consumptions.
After considering all these factors we proposed to Tribe Yoga that we install the Miele Professional Little Giants machines in their studios. These machines provide all the reliability and performance that the business owners were looking for from a commercial laundry machine, as well as providing them with a Miele backed warranty & service plan that would give them added peace of mind.
Tribe Yoga duly accepted our recommendations and we then set about installing these machines in each of their 3 studios, with a washer and dryer solution that was installed in a stacked position to minimise floor space.
