The Client
Jenna Trowell, who already runs an established cleaning business that successfully operates throughout the Clackmannanshire area, approached Thain Commercial after she had the exciting idea to create a new high-end, concierge-style laundry service, which would be located in the town of Dollar.
The clients new venture, which was to be called Blush & Bubbles, would look to provide a laundry service for discerning clients that combined convenience, sustainability, and a ‘true white-glove treatment’, with a clear focus on quality and customer service.
The client wanted the focus for the new business to be around the high level of care that garments would receive when being washed by Blush & Bubbles, as well as looking to utilise new environmentally friendly, innovative technologies that would also see a reduction in her utility bills. In short, it had to offer an experience to customers that exuded luxury at every touchpoint
How We Worked with Blush & Bubbles
With the brief for the new business very clear, we set about working closely with the client to get an understanding of space availability, timescales for the new business to open and the budget that the business had, then we came up with a proposal that would meet the needs of the client.
We met up with the client at the proposed new premises of the business, which were ideally located in the busy High Street of Dollar. After discussion on specifications of machines, especially key features such as energy saving technology, which was to be hugely important to the client, we provided a proposal which included a detailed layout drawing with all required M&E requirements, quotation of costs of equipment based on a 5-year lease rental contract with full parts and labour cover for the duration, along with annual planned preventative maintenance package.
The Solution We Proposed
We suggested the following laundry equipment proposal to the client:
- Electrolux Professional super low energy consumption tumble dryers with the latest heat pump technology, and moisture balance control
- Miele Professional Washers providing high extraction, low energy, water and consumables consumptions, and patented honeycomb drum design offering the very best in fabric care
After the client accepted our proposal, we then worked closely with the client and her contractors during the refurbishment works to ensure that we installed her new equipment in line with her planned works.
This close working arrangement, helped to ensure that all equipment was installed and commissioned in one day, which also included product training, allowing the client to open the doors of her new business the very next day.
